Mission
Help improve people’s lives by assisting policy makers and stakeholders at all levels to design and implement actionable public policy solutions, and by furthering public debate on the most important development challenges facing Ukraine.

Principles
The basic principles governing the Foundation’s activities are independence, focus on economic development, openness, and a practice-oriented approach.

Independence
The Foundation serves the interests of Ukrainian citizens, not political parties or business groups. The Foundation attracts employees and experts with diverse political backgrounds. The Foundation is open to cooperation with everyone who supports its mission and principles and respects its political neutrality.

Focus on economic development
The Foundation will develop programs for sustainable economic development. Only long-term economic growth will improve the welfare of citizens, and provide the country with funds for education, health care, and pensions.

Openness
The Foundation will involve representatives of Ukrainian academia, business, and civil society to discuss and develop programs and projects. The Foundation will facilitate public discussion of the most country’s most important development issues.

Practice-oriented approach
The Foundation strives to develop practical proposals and recommendations for authorities at central, regional, and local levels. To ensure the practicality of its recommendations, the Foundation will involve leading Ukrainian and international economic reform specialists and experts in the development of proposals.
