Mission
To help improve people’s lives by assisting policy makers at all levels to design and implement economic reforms and development programs, and by furthering public debate on the most important development challenges facing Ukraine.

Principles
The basic principles governing the Foundation’s activities are independence, focus on economic development, openness, and a practice-oriented approach.

Independence
The Foundation serves the interests of Ukrainian citizens, not political parties or business groups. The Foundation is open to cooperation with everyone who supports its mission and principles and respects its political neutrality.

Focus on economic development

The Foundation’s projects are focused on creating an environment which fosters sustainable economic growth. Dynamic economic development will help improve the welfare of Ukraine’s citizens and generate the funds for the development of education and health care system and raising the social protection level.

Openness
To discuss and develop programs and projects, the Foundation engages domestic and foreign representatives of the academic, expert, business and civil communities and mass media. The Foundation facilitates public discussion of the most important issues facing Ukraine by holding public events.

Practice-oriented approach
The Foundation develops the proposals and recommendations which result in qualitative changes. These changes contributing to raising Ukraine’s competitiveness are seen by the Foundation as their final deliverables
