Public events of the Foundation (conferences, forums etc.) are organized in cooperation with mainstream press (The Economist, Financial Times etc.). Its goal is to promote Ukraine for international community, particularly, for foreign investors, as a country, which possesses investment potential and respective economic prerequisites, to inform international community on key issues of Ukraine’s economic development.
For the project implementation the Foundation tries to ensure high quality of discussion and selects relevant speakers, among which are the leading Ukrainian and international experts, state officials and top politicians, representatives of international organizations and investment professionals. Moreover the respective target audience is formed and either the Ukrainian or international mass-media is engaged to get out this information and to popularize such-like debate among general public.
Since the Foundation has been established, the following international conferences were held:
- “Building a Strong Economy for the Real Ukraine” in partnership with the American congressional newspaper The Hill, Washington, DC;
- “Ukraine: Challenges and Opportunities” in partnership with the Russian edition Vedomosti, Moscow;
- “Ukraine: Challenges and Opportunities” in partnership with the American edition Financial Times, New York;
- “Ukraine: Reforms, Competitiveness, Investments” in partnership with the American edition Financial Times, Kiev;
- “Inside Ukraine: Understanding Investment Risks and Opportunities” in partnership with the British edition The Economist, London
- “Inside Ukraine 2011: A Success Story in the Making?” in partnership with the British edition The Economist, London.
On March, 29 2012 the Foundation is to hold Kiev investment forum in partnership with the international edition Financial Times and Kiev City State Administration
