In terms of the Project on cooperation with legal authorities in the course of elaboration and implementation of economic reforms, the Fund cooperates with the Ministry of agrarian policy of Ukraine on elaboration of draft law on the land market. This legislative proposal constitutes one of the most principal steps towards completion of agrarian reform and will provide means for creation of transparent turnover of agricultural-use land plots.

This draft law proposes to solve a number of tasks:
• ensuring simplicity and transparency of land plots turnover;
• restriction of possible excessive and unreasonable land clusters;
• consolidation of small land plots;
• the setting up of feasibility to sell land plots and to grant them on lease at an auction with the strongest competition among purchasers to ensure, that the maximum price is reached;
• guarantee of the rights of leaseholders, landlords of land shares and government.

The settlement of relations on the land market and calling off moratorium on the sale of agricultural-use lands will increase the investment attractiveness of agrarian sector, will encourage the retention of land’ fertility and will enable citizens to exercise their constitutional rights. Flow of investments into agrarian sector will facilitate solving many social problems in countryside.
